The force runs strong in my family... What a fun Halloween! I have two daughters and I was still able to be Princess Leia - what a dream come true! So David could be none other than Han Solo. The kids have been playing Star Wars for months so they couldn't have been happier being dressed up as the real deal! My mom made their amazing cloaks and David's mom made the amazing Han Solo vest. Thank you Grandmas!!! Halloween was a great success with lots of candy accumulated. Skyla had the quote of the night after being the scariest thing ever this Halloween. We got back from trick or treating and she said, "I want to be a princess next year."
I seem to remember (and document) the big events in our lives - birthdays, holidays, job changes... But what I want to remember is the little things - the way David and I hold hands, the way Karsten looks with his hands behind his head without a care in the world, Skyla's giggle, and Sierra's ability to block the world when she's reading. So here's to what I want to remember the most... the little moments of our lives that equal a much bigger picture.
