Our dog is one year old - or really seven since she's a dog. To celebrate the occasion, Sierra and Skyla invited Aspen's best doggie friends and others who love her to the park for a party. It was so funny. No, I didn't make a doggie cake. But we did have doggie bags to thank our kanine guests for coming.
Aspen is the best dog. We are so happy she's a part of our family! I really questioned if we'd ever get a dog, but from the minute I saw her I knew she needed to part of our family! She sleeps on mine and David's bed every night. She waits on the bath mat while I take my shower. She waits at the window when we're gone. There's no better cuddler and she's a wonderful vacuum...

What a cute dog! And lucky to be in your family!
thats hilarious!
Mabel and her friends have had plenty of birthday parties for stuffed animals (often ones we've owned less than a year) so at least yours was a party for a living creature!
It sounds like she pays you back well for spoiling her.
How sweet. That makes me feel guilty about my dog outside in the snow, without a heater. :)
Happy b-day Aspen!!!!!!! I love that you had a party for her. Your girls are as fun as you!
So spoiled! As spoiled as some dogs I know that live down the street from me. Did my mom do that blanket? Happy Birthday Aspen. She's adorable.
The iguana is going to get jealous. Maybe that's why he disappeared. He's an emo iguana.
I finally got your blog address from Ambers, Jolyn had it wrong on her blog! I love your blog! What a beautiful family you have! I also loved your Christmas card! Wade had such a great time with your children at the wedding!
You sould like crazy dog lovers like us! We dress up our dogs all the time!
It is fun to see what you've been up to--Keep in touch! I am a much better blogger than face booker!
This cracks me up! I love all of their little party hats. I always am saying I'd hate to have a dog, but your little Aspen is gonna change my mind!
