We have the best friends in the whole world... they came to Alaska in the middle of winter to visit us!! We can't think of a better Christmas present than this. Let the fun begin!
I seem to remember (and document) the big events in our lives - birthdays, holidays, job changes... But what I want to remember is the little things - the way David and I hold hands, the way Karsten looks with his hands behind his head without a care in the world, Skyla's giggle, and Sierra's ability to block the world when she's reading. So here's to what I want to remember the most... the little moments of our lives that equal a much bigger picture.

BTW, thanks for letting Dave come visit us. You should have seen my parents. To quote my dad, "Mom was blubbering." I said dad you were pretty much blubbering, too. I don't think I have ever seen my dad cry like that, well actually if ever!
I was hoping to get to see some photos of the dynamic six reunited! What about the other four kids ;)? I can't wait to see more photos. Have fun this week!!!
