My Little Woman read Little Women! What 4th grader do you know that reads this?! In parent/teacher conference her teacher commented that Skyla is reading WAY too fast for her age and so she was equally shocked when she realized Skyla was comprehending it all! That's Skyla - our little reader!

Well, of course she did! Smart cookie! Well done, Skyla. Maybe I can use this to motivate Isabel... She has only read an abridged version.
That's a tough book full of language of a bygone era. It really is amazing. Last winter when we went to Massachusetts, we went to Louisa May Alcott's house where she wrote the book and got the inspiration for the house and stories (it's semi-autobiographical, you know?)
What a great little girl! I love that book. It's been a long time, it may be time to read it again. Time for a Dave update. How is he doing? Our prayers are with your family.
