I seem to remember (and document) the big events in our lives - birthdays, holidays, job changes... But what I want to remember is the little things - the way David and I hold hands, the way Karsten looks with his hands behind his head without a care in the world, Skyla's giggle, and Sierra's ability to block the world when she's reading. So here's to what I want to remember the most... the little moments of our lives that equal a much bigger picture.

Stop and Smell the Roses
This is the rose bush in front of our house and I don't know why, but I feel so much better about mankind as a whole as I see that people really do stop and smell the roses. Even men who look like they wouldn't stop and smell roses stop and smell roses. It's a beautiful world.

How can you NOT stop and smell the roses on that bush?!? Those are seriously some of the most amazingly fragrant roses ever!
You're so observant and always finding the good in others.
I will be stopping by your house soon...to smell the roses :)
I want rose bushes! They are beautiful. I need serious help in the yard dept. I just read the funny things to remember section and I am sitting here laughing out loud at how cute Karsten is. I want to be closer!!!!
