I seem to remember (and document) the big events in our lives - birthdays, holidays, job changes... But what I want to remember is the little things - the way David and I hold hands, the way Karsten looks with his hands behind his head without a care in the world, Skyla's giggle, and Sierra's ability to block the world when she's reading. So here's to what I want to remember the most... the little moments of our lives that equal a much bigger picture.

Postal Joy
While it is not easy living far away from family, there are a few perks... one of which is packages from Nana! My mom is the queen of holidays and sends the cutest packages for each one. The kids get so excited when they see a box with her return label on it. There's usually some sort of confetti (this time it was Easter grass) that gets absolutely everywhere which just seems to add to the joy. She also handmakes a darling card and includes a treat for me and David. I love my mom and try every day to be just like her.

Love the package! We get the same from my mom and now Max is always saying "I like the mail man, he always brings us presents"
My kids love to get packages from grandma too! How fun!
I agree! I sort of miss living far away from mom just for the packages! Hope you guys had a great Easter. I got your cute card and adorable pictures! Your kids are the cutest. Miss yoU!
So it's genetic!?! That's my excuse!!! I don't have the genes to be a cool mom. Do you think I can start from here on out though? I hope so, because I certainly am inspired!
Okay, I messed up! Jenny left that comment that says "Amy". Oops!
