Yes, that is votED as in the past tense of the verb "to vote" as in I'm finished! Please no more phone calls or fliers. I mailed in my ballot today. Prop 8 was a big one this year. I had the hardest time knowing what to do. I would make up my mind and then hear an ad on the radio and change it. I flip flopped a lot. There are people I love and respect on both sides of the arguement and I wish so much I felt strongly one way or the other. But after much research and discussion and attending a presentation on the legal ramifications of this proposition, I finally got to a point where I could feel good about my decision and I voted and it's now out of my hands. I feel so much better. My mind can focus on other things now. (Like the 34 mile hike I'm doing this weekend!) I plead the 5th on disclosing how I voted. That way my friends and family on each side of the issue can feel like I did the right thing. And I did. I voted!

You are always so ahead of the game!....and what?!!....a 34 mile hike?!!!....are you crazy?!! I love your ambition! I wish I could even have a 1/3 of your ambition, Mindy! You are truly amazing!!! Savannah needs to be around her Aunt Mindy more often so she can see all the things she can do! When she gets old enough to do hikes and rafting and such, I will send her out to San Fran to visit!!!
I'm glad it's over for you. I'm waiting until Tuesday even though I know how I'm voting on everything. I like to get my "I Voted" sticker. :)
Thanks for coming with me on Sunday.
stressful isn't it this year? well, that's all you can do is have your say and then pray that no matter what The Lord will bless our nation.
You've been tagged! Check out my blog, under my posting, "Quirks", to see what you need to do!
I voted too and it is so nice to tell the people that call at night that I already voted and get off the phone quickly. I am glad I didn't have to worry about Prop 8 since I am with you that it is a tough decision to make. Good luck on your hike. Where are you hiking to?
