My Dad was just diagnosed with Stage IV lung cancer. He's 63 and not a smoker and yet he has lung cancer. I'm so angry. And scared. And so incredibly sad. But we're also hopeful. My Dad would always tell us when we were little that we couldn't hurt him - he was made out of steel. We really believed it. And I still do. So good luck cancer because my dad's not going down without a fight!!I'm grateful for the gospel. I'm grateful for the arms of love that have encircled me. To find out more about my dad and his progression in fighting it, you can read the blog my sister started for him. http://www.jumpingjackflashmarshall.blogspot.com/

This post made me cry, thanks for sharing. I love that he told you that you couldn't hurt him, that he was made of steel... dads are such a miracle. My prayers are with your dad during such a crazy time. He is so young, and it sounds like he's tough. And good luck to you also, what a trying time.
oh no, I'm so sorry!
Praying for your whole family!
I am so sorry. My prayers are with you and your family. Your Dad is such an amazing person. What a great example of a hero; helping people even during his rough time.
Love you :)
I'm crying with you! I hope it is okay that I am feeling those emotions, too. I love you and I love your family. You guys are such rocks (I mean steel!)
When you come out to visit him, if you need help watching your little ones, I can come down so you can have a little private time with your parents, if you need! :)
We love you, Mindy and we are praying for you and your family every day.
I am so sorry for your family. What a difficult struggle. I will pray for you and your family.
